 Our Guest Rooms

All our guest rooms are large and attractively decorated. Most are family-size units with a queen-size bed and two full-size twins with five-star hotel-quality Serta mattresses and box springs. They can be separated into two sleeping areas by a folding vinyl wall and are the ideal choice for people traveling with children. All other units are furnished with two double beds.

The rooms are above ground floor and accessible by elevator. They have private bathrooms with either a tub or a shower. For your convenience, each is equipped with a direct-dial telephone and cable color television. All units are provided with a mini-refrigerator and complimentary in-room coffee and coffee-maker.

Our rooms feature two-line phones, voice-mail, data ports and DSL. We also provide a wake-up service and call-forwarding. > more

Fireplace units are our most popular

+Fireplace units

Most third-floor rooms have gas-burning fireplaces controlled by a wall thermostat. These rooms are our most popular and should be reserved far ahead of time!

Some rooms have kitchenette facilities

Some of our guest rooms have kitchenette facilities that can be either opened with a cooktop, dishes and untensils or locked but still useable as a wet bar with a stainless steel sink and mini-refrigerator.

Please request a room with a kitchenette when you are making reservations. There is a two-night minimum charge—we won’t unlock them for just one night. There is no kitchenette charge when the cabinets are locked and used only as a wet bar. Otherwise, all of our guest rooms have mini-refrigerators but not wet bars (although some rooms have them). Each room is equipped with an ice bucket. The ice machine, which dispenses clean water-filtered ice cubes, is located on our patio.

All of our guest rooms have views of Sutro Heights Park, and many have excellent ocean views, including Sutro Bath Ruins and the famous Seal Rocks, breeding place for California sea lions.
